Minimum
Standards:
The minimum
standards listed below must be met for a site to be considered
for this program and to be listed on our website:
• Executive-level local
government official support (Elected official or executive is
defined as a Mayor, Council Member, City Manager or City
Planner)
• Clear title or development
option. Letter from property owner, option holder or listing
real estate broker stating that site is for sale/lease.
• Maps: Site map (showing
layout) and Aerial Map. (FEMA - Flood Plain also recommended).
• Infrastructure in place at
site:

Primary infrastructure
includes: roads, electric, high speed communications
(including broadband), wastewater, sewer, septic and public
water.

Secondary infrastructure
includes: air, rail, highway access
• Water and Wastewater
infrastructure to property line. Capacity clearly defined.
• Transportation infrastructure
to property line.
• Electric infrastructure to
property line. Capacity clearly identified.
• Natural Gas* infrastructure to
property line. Capacity clearly identified. *(not required)
• High speed communications
infrastructure to property line. Capacity clearly identified.
Selection
Criteria:
Applicants for the EDGE Shovel
Ready Program will be evaluated and considered based on the
information submitted on the data sheet. EDGE is committed to
maintaining a diverse selection of Shovel Ready Sites on our
“Hot List” to prospective clients. Diversity factors include
community size, type of development project and geography. There
are no minimum or maximum acreage requirements. Please contact
