The Economic Development Group is actively
involved in improving the business climate of our
county by increasing the tax base, helping existing
businesses expand and become more profitable, and
attracting new businesses to our community.
These
activities stimulate our economy and help create jobs for our
citizens.

History of the Organization
The Economic Development Group was created
originally in early 1980's
with a grant from the Department of Commerce with Gene Wilson as the President.
The Economic Development Group of Eloy is a
nonprofit corporation with a Federal [501(c)6] tax status and is
governed by a seven-member volunteer Board of Directors.

Mission: To
facilitate strategic planning and Board development while
providing leadership, structure, support and assistance. To
oversee the other committees and task forces.

establish a budget, revenue streams and fund allocation for the
EDGE.

Group of Eloy's mission to the local, state and national markets.
